ArtOpus.のスタジオがある茅ヶ崎からは綺麗な富士山が見えます。世界的に知られる彫刻家イサムノグチも子どもの頃に住んでいた茅ヶ崎の家の丸窓から富士山を眺め日本の美に目覚めたそうです。丸窓で切り取られた富士の形はさぞ美しかったことでしょう。モチーフはそんな茅ヶ崎から見える富士山をイメージしてデザインされています。

Design Concept
The signature “Fuji” series necklace by ArtOpus.SHONAN beautifully adorns the neckline.
Mount Fuji represents a timeless expression of Japanese beauty recognized around the world. From Chigasaki, where the ArtOpus.SHONAN studio is located, one can see a clear and majestic view of Mount Fuji. The internationally renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi is also said to have gazed upon Mount Fuji from the round window of his childhood home in Chigasaki, an experience that awakened his appreciation for Japanese aesthetics. Framed within a circular window, the silhouette of Mount Fuji must have been especially striking.
Inspired by this view from Chigasaki, the motif is designed to evoke Mount Fuji as seen from the studio’s surroundings.
